The Korn Ferry (Amateur PGA) Tour held a tournament here last week (The Lake Charles Championship) and we provided meals for all the event volunteers as well as the player caddies. We served about 1200 meals over the course of the 4-day event. https://www.facebook.com/lakecharlestoyota

• The Korn Ferry Tour is the developmental tour for the PGA Tour and features professional golfers who have either not yet reached the PGA Tour, or who have done so but then failed to win enough FedEx Cup points to stay at that level.

• The Inaugural Lake Charles Championship took place March 24-27, 2022 at the Golden Nugget Casino Resort Country Club

• The Tournament was won by Trevor Werbylo, a 23-year-old from Tucson, AZ who finished -18

•  It was a tremendous celebration for the city to finally host the event following two cancelations, first due to the pandemic in 2020 and then in 2021 following Hurricanes Laura and Delta directly impact to the area

• Lake Charles Toyota served roughly 1200 plates of Southern Hospitality, ranging from fajitas, chicken wings and pork steaks to Cajun staples like pastalaya, boudin, and fried fish
