Our growing family

We are beginning a new phase today in our Lake Charles Toyota blog.  I will be writing my thoughts about our family and our business for a while, to share with our customers and associates some of the things I think are important, exciting, noteworthy, or maybe just informative in some way.

I am a big proponent of writing things, and I journal daily.  I think it is my best way of getting my thoughts across and making history real to me.  I want to communicate with our customers and our family in this forum, sharing some of my daily experiences and thoughts.  I may mention things that have happened recently, or things that are about to happen soon.  I hope you enjoy hearing from our family as much as I enjoy sharing our lives with you.

We are currently enjoying new additions to our family.  Our family consists of all our relationships that we have developed over our lives.  But specifically, we have recently added three new babies: five-months old Miles Vincent Tarver, son of Corey and Lori, and Millie Kate Tarver and Graham Harrison Tarver, one-month old twins of Eric and Katie.  Along with our specially adopted other two grandchildren, five years old Aubrey Renee Baglio and three years old (almost) Blaire Ahmee Lang, we have a new generation to spread our influence and love amongst.  Bip (Phillip) and Ahmee (DeWanna) are so excited to welcome all five into our hearts.  We are all learning to adjust our schedules and activities and priorities to this new phase in our lives. It brings significant changes to us, including late night feedings and daily opportunities to clean up messes.  But the rewards and benefits are so amazing they are almost overwhelming.  DeWanna and I have always considered ourselves most blessed by God, but these additions to our lives have made us so much more appreciative of every moment.  There are not enough adequate words to explain our full our hearts have become.

As the days turn into months, and months turn into years we want to remember to cherish every opportunity we are given to share God’s love and blessings with everyone we encounter.  DeWanna, Corey, and Eric and all the new Tarver family members want you all to know how much we have come to appreciate all our relationships we have developed over the past 30 years in business.  Come this December, we will have been married 40 years.  It is so true the saying, “time flies when you are having fun”, and my how the fun has made the years fly by.

Thank you all for the wonderful support over the years, and we look forward to keeping in touch in the days, months, and years to come.
